Drawing for Inktober 2017 Day 4 – Underwater
This is too late but here is my drawing for Inktober 2017 day 4 – Underwater.
The drawing was created using color pens and a little color pencils for the skin tone. It is an image of the child underwater enjoying the fishing. She is breathing using the straw.
How did I came up with the Underwater drawing?
I did not conceive the whole idea of the drawing but I based it on the work of Margie Stamenova. While looking for concept I discovered here work called “underwater“. The drawing is a child, upside down, with the head underwater, smiling and enjoying the school of fish.
From Margie’s drawing, I was inspired to create a similar concept but incorporating my own ideas. I drew a similar looking girl, submerge underwater but not upside down, using a plastic straw to breath and also enjoying the fishes.
My drawing are mostly color pens except for the skin tone which is difficult to color with the pen alone so I used the color pencils.
That’s all for the day 4. If you want to view the Inktober 2017 day 3 drawing, click the link below.
